DESCRIPTION:WMOTA club ride for August 22\, 2026 \nDirections:  Take highway 260 from Pinetop east\, past Highway 273 (Sunrise/Big Lake Rd) to Forest Road 117\, turn left (north)\, 1.25 miles to the corrals.  This is our staging area. We will have WMOTA signs out to help guide you. \nTime:  We will depart the staging area promptly at 9:00 am.  Come early for donuts and visiting. \nHave your machines in top working order. \nThis will be a POKER RUN also\, so bring your $5.00’s for each card. \nThis ride is 37 miles of forest trails and roads with two hill climbs that can be a challenge but lots of fun with great views at the top. \nAs always\, bring a lunch\, drinks and a great attitude!!!  Rain gear would be a good idea also (we hope) \nKaren and Jerry Smith\, Ride Leaders

DESCRIPTION:WMOTA September Club Ride \nWMOTA’s September club ride will be held Saturday\, September 19\, and will be\nled by Jim Lupien. The ride will take place in the area south of Big Lake and will include a stop at Nutrioso Overlook.\nJim will also be doing a pre-ride on Friday\, September 18\, and members who aren’t able to make the Saturday ride are welcome to join him. Both rides will begin at 9:00 a.m. from the staging area and are expected to last approximately five hours\, weather permitting. \n\nDirections to the Staging Area:\nDirections are from the Hon-Dah Casino:\n• From the casino\, take Highway 260 east for approximately 20 miles to Highway 273.\n• Turn right onto Highway 273 and continue for approximately 26 miles.\n• Along the way\, you’ll pass the Big Lake turnoff (where Highway 273\nbecomes Highway 249) and the Highway 285 turnoff.\n• Shortly after passing the Highway 285 turnoff\, look for a WMOTA sign on\nthe left indicating the staging area.
